Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that the               
House consider the Senate message (page 3301) on the following at              
this time:                                                                     
                                                                               
HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 53                                                 
Relating to support for federal legislation providing for the                 
continuation of the University of Alaska by the conveyance of                  
federal land to the university.

There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                   
                                                                               
Representative Porter moved that the House concur in the Senate                
amendment to HJR 53, thus adopting HJR 53 am S, and recommended                
that the members vote yes.                                                     
                                                                               
The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment
